PRESS CREDENTIAL REQUESTS FOR 2015 EAST BAY WINTERNATIONALS

TAMPA, FL…….1/13/15…..East Bay Raceway Park is preparing for the 39th Annual Winternationals, set for January 29 through February 28, 2015 and members of the Media are urged to send for their Press Credentials as soon as possible.

Requests should be submitted on letterhead indicating press affiliation, events you will be covering (including dates) and whether you are a photographer, writer or broadcaster. Please include your name, address and phone number and mail your request to: Attention: Press Credentials, East Bay Raceway Park, 6311 Burts Road, Tampa FL 33619 or fax to 813-672-1901.

No e-mail requests will be honored and samples or proof of East Bay stories, stats or photos

must be submitted with your request. A website must have its own URL, 250,000 hits/month, updated at least 3 times per week during the season and display current information to be eligible.

A form for requesting Press Credentials is also on East Bay’s Official web site www.eastbayracewaypark.com click on Winternationals then click on the Media Credentials bracket.

The Winternationals in 2015 will be January 29, 30 and 31 with three nights of UMP/EBRP Open Wheel Modifieds - Thursday, Friday and Saturday, plus the Top Gun Sprints on Friday and Saturday. Prior to the first night of each racing series will be a practice night for those cars and drivers.

Next on Feb. 5. 6 and 7 will be racing for Crate Late Models and Team USA Mod-Lites Winternationals running three consecutive nights- Thursday through Saturday. The Street Stocks will run qualifying heats only on Friday preparing for their World Street Stock Championship on Saturday night. Practice for all cars will be February 4th.

Six nights of the highly competitive Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series means they will bring their cars for practice on Sunday, February 8. Serious racing will be from Monday through Saturday, February 9. 10, 11, 12, 13 and l4. Starting with $5,000 to win for two nights, that prize climbs to $7.000 for the next two and on the final two nights it will be $10,000 to win each night.

The ASCS 360 Sprints, plus the Florida Mini Sprints will be on hand for three days, Thursday, Friday and Saturday February 19. 20. and 21. (Practice Wednesday the 18th). The 360’s are expected to bring a field of over40 cars. All eyes will be on Saturday’s winner of the 14th Annual Ronald Laney Memorial paying $10,000 to win.

The USAC Non-Wing Sprints makes their return to East Bay Raceway Park to close out the Winternationals with a three-day show on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 26, 27 and 28. Practice will be on Wednesday the 25th.
